Suzy’s favourite quote:

“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humour, and some style.”

Suzy Taylor

Administration Lead

I was presented with the opportunity to join Schmidt & Associates in 2014 and the moment I stepped into the office to meet with Ron for an interview, I knew it was a team I wanted to be part of.

For the past 5 years, I have been the first face that our clients see when they come in the office and the welcoming voice on the other end of the phone.  I am our lead administrator and keep the team organized so that everyone can work efficiently to meet our client’s needs. I am also the key liaison between our clients and our back office colleagues and play a key role in our team’s technology based wealth management delivery. I take pride in the high service standards we deliver and my favorite part of my job is interacting with our clients on a daily basis.

I have worked my entire career in client services.  Having worked in management at a Five Star resort, where a new group of guests arrived every four days, my goal was to make sure that from the moment they arrived, they had the best experience possible. This required a high level of organization and attentiveness. Prior to working at Schmidt & Associates, I worked at a big five bank for over 5 years. There, I gained invaluable knowledge about the financial services industry. I learned to respond quickly and find solutions to problems as they came along so that clients experienced as little stress and worry as possible. My experience has translated very well into the support I provide the team and our clients here at Schmidt & Associates.

Outside the office, my life is all about family. My partner and I have four kids and I love getting outdoors and travelling with them. A great weekend for me includes a family adventure, sharing great conversation and laughter over dinner.
